KOCH Signs "The Animal Band" For Home Video Debut
 
(Port Washington, New York) --October 6, 2003--KOCH Entertainment Distribution announced today that it has signed an exclusive deal with Nashville-based The Animal Band Joint Venture, LLC to distribute the debut video line from The Animal Band, one of the most successful acts in family entertainment. Created by lead vocalist Jim Moore, The Animal Band has been featured on VH1, PBS, FOX, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and Good Morning America and has performed all over the country including The White House and The Grand Ole Opry.

Nashville film production and distribution companies AGP/Ann Gillis Productions and Venice Film Merchants financed The Animal Band’s debut video project. After realizing the potential to create television, home video and soundtrack releases, both companies approached the band’s founder Jim Moore and formed The Animal Band Joint Venture in 2002.  The Animal Band's self-titled DVD debut, scheduled to be released on January 6, 2004, features a lavish production with 13 songs and digital animations throughout the high-energy live performance which includes riveting stage effects, audience participation and lessons that range from the joys of reading to keeping cool during emergencies.  Additional DVD releases from The Animal Band via KOCH for 2004 will include "Are We There Yet?" and The Animal Band's Christmas show "Jungle All The Way".
