KOCH Forges Deal with Newly-Launched Wigmore Hall Live

(Port Washington, New York) January 4, 2006 – KOCH Entertainment Distribution is pleased to announce that it has signed an exclusive distribution deal with Wigmore Hall Live, the newly-launched in-house label of legendary chamber music venue Wigmore Hall. 

London-based Wigmore Hall, one of the world’s leading chamber music venues, launched Wigmore Hall Live in September 2005 – the first venue to start such a project. After a major refurbishment of the Hall and the introduction of state-of-the-art recording equipment, the first four recordings were released at the start of the new season at the Hall in September. 

Many national and international press articles covered the launch with Gramophone, Britain’s leading classical music magazine, saying “Few concert venues possess the magic ingredient to play host to such a project”.

The label is now being distributed worldwide and anticipates to release between 8 and 10 recordings per year.  Please find a list of key catalog and forthcoming releases on the following page.
